This stunning, hand-coloured, architectural print was originally published in "Nouvelles Maisons De Paris" by Cesar Daly in 1860. The publication featured over 300 steel engravings showing front and side elevations of buildings, along with the design details of walls, ceilings, windows, doors and gardens. Cesar Daly was one of the leading Parisian architects of the 19th century. His revolutionary ideas marked an important step in the eventual emergence of modern urban planning.
