The manufacturing process used to produce these tapestries has remained basically the same for the last 200 years. These traditional tapestries are woven on jacquard mechanical looms in Flanders, the home of tapestry since medieval times. In the Flora tapestry, 1855, Burne Jones designed the figure and William Morris the background.

All of our tapestries are supplied with a cotton lining and an integral sleeve for the hanging pole.
